About Bill Snyder, CPA

After nearly 25 years in public accounting, where I provided income tax planning and preparation services, the financial crisis that began in 2007 opened the door for me to get involved in property tax appeal services. The meltdown crushed the real estate market and there was a huge need to file appeals, on commercial properties especially. California assessors did their best to independently reduce residential property assessments. However, this was not true for commercial properties since it was too difficult to value unique properties. Therefore, owners were not able to get reductions on commercial property unless they filed an appeal.

As a CPA, working with profit and loss statements and rent rolls came naturally. I first learned how the property tax appeal process operated by working with the Santa Clara County Assessor on the office building that my partner and I bought in 2000. Since then, I have worked with hundreds of commercial property owners to reduce their property taxes. Property taxes have become an obsession with me. I am able to get clients both temporary and permanent reductions that produce indefinite tax savings.

I find the entire process rewarding and look forward to expanding my clientele. My mission is to help every property owner to minimize one of the largest expenses on the profit and loss. Nobody has to overpay their property taxes. Please contact me if you would like to discuss the possibilities for your property.
